Overview of the Project
Ko'olau Loa Partners,Inc.
LOCAL JOBS AND LOCAL HOMES FOR LOCAL PEOPLE
The Ko'olau Loa Revitalization Project will revitalize a group of rural communities, by creating purchasable housing, employment educational opportunity, cultural and heritage recognition, quality medical care, and improvement in the quality of life for the area's senior citizens. It's primary goal is to maintain the country-style of living that is currently enjoyed by the residents of the Ko'olau Loa communities while enhancing the quality of life that is available. This is as much a humanitarian effort as it is a for-profit development. Integrated into the project are plans for healthcare systems, care for the elderly, improvement in the quality of living, educational advancement, renewable energy, and finally, meaningful employment in significant numbers of new jobs.
Ko'olau Loa is not a simple  development. This is a lifetime project. KLP began developing the project by talking with the local residents in 2005, two years before it conceptualized any plans for the region, and it will remain in the area for decades after the development is complete. This venture is a humanitarian, good neighbor, long term issue.
Ko'olau Loa will be a staged humanitarian production consisting of six (06) major development elements that may or may not be congruent in their phased development. These elements complement one another as do the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle; giving strength to one another and each fulfilling a vital part of the whole. The elements include:
1.   Modernization and Redesign of Kahuku General Hospital
2.   Construction of Ko'olau Loa Village
3.    Construction of New Intermediate and High School
4.    Construction of a Sports Facility to Support Kahuku High
School and the citizens of Ko'olau Loa
5.   Development of Ko'olau Loa Vocational College
6.   Construction of Sugar Mill Studis, Film Museum, and Four
       Dimensional Theatre
7.   Development of Ko'olau Loa Town Center
8.   Development of Ko'olau Loa Senior Assisted-Living Village

The project will create an estimated 2,450 meaningful jobs, provide high quality medical care, ensure college-level educational opportunity, and provide a quality means for caring for the area's aging population.
